The EconoCylinder is our cutting edge, low energy electric Hot Water Cylinder. More than just a hot water cylinder, the EconoCylinder has advanced energy capabilities.
Design
Its design and construction are familiar and will fit all types of installation. Made from premium quality stainless steel materials the EconoCylinder can be configured in open-vented, combination fortic or pressurised to utilise both renewable and traditional heat sources. The dynamic energy management system can also be set up for customers to benefit from dynamic Time of Use tariffs. EconoCylinder is perfect for present, and future innovations designed to last a lifetime.
Efficiency
Thanks to the integrated HET®, each EconoCylinder will regulate it’s own internal temperature and will always use the minimum amount of energy possible to keep the water at a consistent temperature . The internal energy management system and circulating pump often utilise only 60% of the power rating to heat the volume of water.
Control
Complete premium wireless control comes as standard with each EconoCylinder. The system includes a digital thermostat integrated into the cylinder vessel and connects wirelessly to a central programmer or to a mobile phone via the app. With the integrated energy management system, the cylinder can also utilise Time of Use tariffs and act as an energy storage system. Users can control the heating from their mobile phone, via virtual assistants or by using the touch screens of the thermostat.
Future innovation ready
If at a later date, renewable technologies are added to the property, the EconoCylinder can easily be powered directly by these sources or in conjunction with grid connections.
